ABOUT PLENTIFULL

What is PLENTIFULL?

PLENTIFULL is a seasonal supper box designed to make seasonal eating more accessible, shaped each month by the best organic, regenerative and wild-caught British produce.

How does it work?

Each month, customers receive three carefully curated recipes which are inspired by the season and the produce which is naturally at its best.

Is it a subscription?

PLENTIFULL can be enjoyed either as a one-off box or as a monthly subscription. Our customers who do subscribe are free to pause, skip or cancel at any time. Whilst we want to offer as much flexibility to our customers as possible, subscriptions play an important role in forecasting demand and allowing us to support smaller-scale growers with greater confidence.

What does it cost?

Our meals are designed to cost roughly £9–12 per person, depending on the ingredients and the season. Because the menus are built around carefully sourced organic produce, regenerative meat and wild-caught fish, pricing can vary slightly month to month based on what is naturally at its best.

Why choose PLENTIFULL?

PLENTIFULL is unlike anything else on the market, built around carefully sourced ingredients of the highest standard rather than competing on cost, while offering a more elevated experience than traditional veg boxes and removing decision fatigue through a thoughtfully curated seasonal set menu.

When are you launching?

We are planning to launch very soon. Follow us on Instagram @plentifulluk and sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know.

RECIPES & COOKING

Do customers choose the recipes?

No, recipes are carefully curated each month by the PLENTIFULL team to reflect the season and the best produce available.

What sort of range of recipes will there be?

PLENTIFULL draws inspiration from different food cultures and flavour profiles. Our recipes are carefully designed to suit different occasions but share one common thread; showcasing the best seasonal produce.

How much cooking experience is required?

The recipes are designed to feel approachable and enjoyable, whether you are someone who cooks regularly or are trying seasonal cooking for the first time.

How long do the recipes take?

All recipes are designed to be cooked from scratch in under an hour. Each monthly box is also curated to offer a balance of cooking times across the three dishes. A seasonal salad might take 20 minutes, while a slower meat dish may take closer to 1 hour and a pasta dish somewhere in between.

What is your approach to pantry items? Do you supply everything?

Not entirely. We intentionally don’t supply small pantry items like oils, vinegars, spices and condiments. Partly because we want to avoid the unnecessary packaging that comes with sending tiny quantities but also because we want to encourage people to feel more confident cooking at home, and building a well-stocked pantry is an important part of that. The recipes are therefore designed around a small number of everyday staples that most people either already have or can build up over time.

SOURCING & INGREDIENTS

Is the produce organic?

We take a category-by-category approach to sourcing rather than applying one blanket standard across everything. Our fruit, vegetables and dairy are organic. Our meat is sourced from regenerative, high-welfare farms and our fish is wild-caught. Transparency is extremely important to us. Every supplier we work with is clearly listed on our website, and every recipe card traces each ingredient back to the producer it came from.

Is everything British?

We’ve gone out of our way to build a supply chain which supports British growers, farmers and fisheries as we believe it not only results in better-tasting food but ultimately creates a more resilient British food system. That’s why we source everything from within the UK, with the one small exception of some citrus fruits, which come from the Todoli Citrus Foundation via Shrub London.

How do you handle allergens?

Allergens are clearly listed on every recipe card. As we grow, we hope to offer a wider range of dietary preferences and allergen-friendly options.

DELIVERY & LOGISTICS

Where do you deliver?

We’re launching in London, with plans to expand to more areas soon based on demand.

When do boxes arrive?

We deliver boxes once per month on a Saturday. Over time we’ll add more Saturday slots for customers to choose from within the month.

How many people does each box serve?

Each recipe is designed to serve two people generously. Families and groups can therefore order multiple boxes to begin with and as we grow, we plan to add larger format boxes.

What sort of packaging do you use?

The cardboard PLENTIFULL box and insultation pads are 100% home recyclable and the vast majority of fruit and vegetables are provided either loose or in composable packaging. Plastic is used for items like salad bags and meat where it is required in order to preserve freshness. Improving the environmental footprint of our boxes is a major focus for us, and as we grow, we’ll continue to work closely with our suppliers to explore innovative solutions and partnerships to further reduce the use of plastic wherever possible.
